Heart Care Without the Guesswork

Our cardiology department sees more than 9,000 patients a year across outpatient clinics, the cath lab and the coronary care unit. Whether you arrived through the emergency door with chest pain or were referred for a murmur picked up at a routine check-up, the pathway is the same: rapid assessment, a clear explanation of what we found, and a treatment plan you agreed to.

Diagnostics run in-house, so an echocardiogram, stress test or CT coronary angiogram is usually completed and reported within the same visit rather than across three separate appointments.

Chest pain right now? Do not wait for an appointment — call +1 800 123 4567 or go straight to our emergency entrance on Wellness Avenue.

Conditions We Treat

  • Coronary artery disease, angina and heart attack (acute coronary syndrome)
  • Heart failure, cardiomyopathy and valve disease
  • Arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, and pacemaker or ICD management
  • Hypertension, high cholesterol and inherited cardiac risk
  • Congenital heart conditions carried into adulthood

Procedures & Technology

The cath lab runs a 24/7 primary angioplasty rota, meaning a blocked artery can be opened within minutes of arrival rather than after a transfer. Our imaging suite includes 3D echocardiography and cardiac MRI, and the electrophysiology team performs ablation for rhythm disorders.

What to Bring to Your First Visit

  • Your insurance card and a photo ID
  • A relative or friend if you would like a second pair of ears
Most heart disease is not discovered on the day it becomes dangerous. It is discovered on an ordinary Tuesday, in a clinic, by someone who took the time to ask the right question.
